Showcasing excellence in group hospitality and cementing preferred supplier status within coach tourism.
Holiday Inn Norwich North recently welcomed delegates from across the coach tourism industry for the annual Coach Tourism Association (CTA) Networking Weekend, proudly hosted by Kew Green Hotels. The event, held from Saturday 17 to Monday 19 May 2025, highlighted Kew Green’s ongoing commitment to group travel and its position as a preferred supplier to the sector.

With a dynamic mix of business sessions, familiarisation visits, and entertainment, the weekend gave coach tour operators, suppliers, and key stakeholders the chance to connect in a relaxed and professional setting.

The weekend began with early arrivals checking in on Saturday afternoon, followed by a relaxed buffet dinner in the restaurant. Guests then gathered in the Halifax Suite for a Eurovision big screen party, organised by Geoff Holt and Oli Williams of IOW Tours— setting a lively tone for the days ahead.

Sunday saw attendees embark on a familiarisation trip, starting with a morning cruise on the Queen of the Broads courtesy of Broad Tours, complete with coffee and biscuits. The afternoon continued with a visit to the stunning Holkham Hall, where guests enjoyed lunch and a guided tour of the hall and its gardens.

The highlight of the weekend was Sunday evening’s welcome reception, sponsored by Holiday Inn Norwich North. Guests enjoyed speeches, a three-course dinner, and live entertainment by CN Live Productions’ West End Crooners. After-dinner drinks in the hotel bar, sponsored by Kew Green Hotels, provided further opportunities for networking in a relaxed setting.

The event concluded on Monday with the CTA AGM, a session on Coaches in Norfolk, and the CTA Supplier Showcase, followed by a light lunch.

Helen Barker, Sales and Partnership Manager at Kew Green Hotels, commented:
“This was my first time attending the CTA Networking Weekend, and I had heard glowing feedback from Beverley, Head of Sales & Partnerships UK & Inbound at Kew Green, about previous events. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect. The sessions struck a perfect balance between formal and informal networking—allowing for genuine conversation and meaningful connections.
It was a pleasure to host the event at Holiday Inn Norwich North. Beverley did a fantastic job positioning the hotel to the CTA, and I was impressed by the property updates since my last visit. Nat, the General Manager, and her team delivered flawless service throughout.
Experiencing the event from our customers’ perspective reminded me that success in coach tourism depends on collaboration at every level.”

Kew Green Hotels’ Beverley Williams-Smith, Head of Sales & Partnerships UK & Inbound, played a key role in securing the event and supporting its delivery. As a CTA board member, Beverley continues to champion the importance of high-quality, group-friendly hospitality across the UK.
