With over 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry – though, as David says, “it seems more like ten!” – he brings a wealth of expertise and energy to his role as CEO of Kew Green Hotels.
Throughout his career, David has worked with some of the most respected names in hospitality, including Hilton Hotels, QHotels, IHG, Clermont Hotels and Adriatic Luxury Hotels. His leadership has spanned everything from luxury resorts to large-scale branded operations, giving him a deep understanding of how to deliver excellence at every level of guest experience.
For David, hospitality has always been about people. “This industry is all about people. We build great relationships with colleagues and guests. Hospitality can bring so much joy to people. We help people celebrate the good times, form lifelong friendships and relationships, we build interesting and varied careers, we bring people together, we provide a home from home for the weary traveller, we're there when you need us for a break, or a place to relax and let someone else do the cooking for you! It is not for the faint hearted. This is a dynamic, fast paced environment, needing passion, dedication, attention to detail, hard work and a can-do attitude, but once you try it, it's difficult not to love it. ”
Over the course of his career, David has led a wide range of transformative projects, from major hotel reconstructions and refurbishments to cutting-edge technology initiatives, world-class events and crisis management support. Each of these experiences has reinforced his belief that success in hospitality is always driven by one thing: people working together with purpose, pride and positivity.
As he leads Kew Green Hotels into its next chapter, David remains committed to championing its people, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring every guest experience reflects the warmth, professionalism, and passion that define great hospitality.
